Healthcare Access
Well-Ahead Louisiana
As the chronic disease prevention and healthcare access arm of the Louisiana Department of Health, Well-Ahead Louisiana connects communities to tools and resources that can improve the health of Louisiana residents were they live, work, learn, play and pray. One way to do this is through increasing access to healthcare services in the areas of our state that need it most. Well-Ahead’s Louisiana Primary Care Office proactively works to build the capacity of community health systems to provide integrated primary care, behavioral health and dental healthcare services to reduce health disparities through supporting recruitment and retention of healthcare professionals in rural and underserved areas. Well-Ahead Louisiana is a member of National Rural Recruitment and Retention Network (3RNet), so whether you looking for the right career opportunity, or looking to hire for your clinic, Well-Ahead can help!
